Shaikhuna was born as the first child of Shaikh Syed Muhammad Kunj Labba and Saramma Bewi
His father,Kunj Thangal, was a great scholar, a Sufi and a perfect lover of religion The village of Kaniyapuram later became world famous because of the birth of that saint
The Auliyas are those who have renounced everything and succeeded in His trials by enduring countless sufferings and pains and seeking only the pleasure of Allah.
These Sufis, who are His beloved servants, are great souls who bring comfort and joy to the grieving human community even after they have disappeared from us as in life.
